The community of Placid Lakes embodies the serenity and peace many people seek. Only about four miles west of beautiful, sunny Lake Placid, Florida, our community sits amid citrus groves, rows of freshwater canals, and wilderness, and borders the southwest shore of Lake June-in-Winter.

The Placid Lakes community truly feels like home, and we are proud of our friendly neighbors who are always willing to go the extra mile and to help others within the community.

Just minutes from Uptown Lake Placid and thirty minutes from the famous Sebring International Raceway, Placid Lakes makes for a great place to settle down. Some of our amenities include a 4800′ x 50′ airplane runway with large hangars, park with shelter houses, a boat ramp and a community center.
