Placid Lakes Community League (501 © (3) Organization) has been created. Our first meeting was on November 2, 2024

Purpose: 
The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational,
recreational, beautification, and clean lakes and canals, for such purposes,
seeking private or government grants, donations, gifts, etc., to assist in funding
specified projects as directed by the Board of Directors for the betterment of
Placid Lakes area. Also, the making of distributions to organizations that
qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Specifically, the Corporation aims to enhance opportunities for youth and
adults in education, recreation, community beautification, and lake and canal
water improvements.

Mission Statement:
To create and maintain a vibrant and safe environment utilizing community outreach opportunities that provide for ongoing education, the preservation of the natural beauty of our lakes and canals, and a continuous commitment to the betterment of the community.

Vision Statement:
To enhance the quality of life for residents by providing educational opportunities, promoting recreational activities, preserving the cleanliness of lakes and canals, fostering community health initiatives, and spearheading beautification projects. Through our collective efforts, we aim to create a vibrant and sustainable community where residents can thrive, connect, and enjoy a high quality of life in a clean and beautiful environment.
